Two Chinese nationals have been charged with smuggling a dangerous fungus classified as a potential agroterrorism weapon into the U.S., allegedly using a University of Michigan lab for their research. The DOJ says the suspects, both funded by the Chinese government, posed a serious national security threat by transporting the noxious pathogen through Detroit Metro Airport.
