Memorial Ceremony at Village Hall – June 6

The Village of Oswego invites the community to attend the Illinois Fallen Wall Closing Ceremony this Friday, June 6, at 10:30 a.m. at Village Hall (100 Parkers Mill).

This solemn event honors and remembers the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. All members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend as we pay tribute to their courage and dedication.

For those unable to attend in person, the closing ceremony will be streamed live on the Village of Oswego’s official Facebook page.

Please join us in showing our deepest gratitude to our fallen heroes.

Your Next Yard Sale Haul Awaits

The Village of Oswego will host its annual Community Yard Sale this Friday and Saturday, June 6 and 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

More than 50 households throughout the Village are participating, offering residents and visitors an excellent opportunity to browse for unique items and great deals.

Are You Ready for It? Opening Night at Venue 1012

The 2025 season at Venue 1012 begins tonight (June 5) with an exciting evening of high-energy performances and chart-topping hits. The Village of Oswego is thrilled to welcome residents and visitors back for another unforgettable summer of live entertainment.

The opening night lineup includes:

Fearless: The Ultimate Unofficial Taylor Tribute | 5:30–7:00 p.m.
Beyond the Blonde | 7:30–9:00 p.m.
(A dynamic tribute to P!NK, Gwen Stefani, and Lady Gaga)

Admission to the event is free, and all are welcome to attend.

Pop music fans, Taylor Swift enthusiasts, and concertgoers of all ages are encouraged to gather their friends and join us for an evening of great music, community spirit, and the perfect kickoff to the summer season.
