My dad served in the Marines. My mom is a Navy veteran. This endorsement is more than politics; it’s deeply personal. It’s a show of trust from people who know what it means to serve and fight for justice.
My mom and dad taught me that leadership isn’t about titles — it’s about service. They showed me that real courage means standing up for others, especially when it’s hard.
That’s what this moment demands.
Right now, the Trump administration is going after our veterans.
Trump wants to slash 83,000 jobs at the VA, and gut care and benefits millions of veterans rely on to pay for tax breaks for his billionaire friends.
This is a betrayal of the sacred promise our country has made to every person who’s served.
That’s why, as Governor, I will fight like hell to:
✅ Expand rural veteran transportation to all 33 counties in New Mexico
✅ Hire more Veteran Service Officers
✅ Help veterans transition into high-paying civilian jobs
✅ Crack down on predatory businesses that exploit our veterans
✅ Invest in mental health and suicide prevention
New Mexico’s 122,000+ veterans and their families deserve a governor who won’t back down, but we have to win this race to guarantee it.
