House Republicans just passed a sweeping 10-year moratorium on state laws regulating artificial intelligence (AI) – stripping states of the power to address threats like deepfakes, algorithmic bias, election interference, and data privacy abuse

And here’s the kicker: some Republicans didn’t even know that they voted for it.

After the vote, Marjorie Taylor Greene admitted she wasn’t aware the moratorium was buried in the bill. She didn’t read it. She voted for it anyway.
