The last time John James ran for the U.S. Senate, he tweeted that he supported Donald Trump's heartless, irresponsible, corporate agenda "2000%."

Now that John James is running against my friend and Michigan’s U.S. Senator Gary Peters, President Trump is returning the favor. President Trump recently endorsed James because he knows he'd be his rubber stamp in the Senate.

Gary Peters has been a steadfast advocate for the people of Michigan, and a critical ally on the issues that matter to Pennsylvanians. Politico recently called him "the low-key, Harley-riding senator Democrats are leaning on to win the majority." We can't afford to let the Trump machine replace him.

With President Trump setting his sights on Michigan, it’s more important than ever that we help Gary fight back. Will you chip in to keep my friend and ally, Gary Peters, in the Senate?

Even the leader of a Republican super PAC trying to defeat Gary Peters had to admit: "Peters is a hard-working, disciplined guy." That's why he's earned a reputation among Democrats as a "worker bee."

While some politicians push their own agenda or hog the spotlight, Gary's spent his time in the Senate getting the job done. He's the kind of ally Michigan families can always count on.
