The Trump Administration just announced a new travel ban that will bar citizens of 12 countries from entering the United States. We The Action was created in response to the first travel ban in 2017, when lawyers rushed to airports to help immigrants in need of legal support.

Lawyers stepped up then, and we need to come together to respond now.

Earlier this year, we launched the Immigration Legal Response Center to mobilize volunteer lawyers to protect immigrant communities under threat. Now, in the face of another travel ban, they need your help more than ever. Sign up for a project at the Immigration Legal Response Center today.

We The Action’s Immigration Legal Response Center is your hub to harness the power of pro bono to protect immigrant communities and respond to the crises ahead. If you don’t have a background in immigration law, you can still get involved. We will connect you with free training so that you are ready to provide pro bono legal support to nonprofit immigration organizations.

Volunteers are needed to apply for relief from deportation, represent clients held at detention centers in bond proceedings, assist with Know Your Rights research and presentations, and more. Sign up for a project today.
