Republican women recently celebrated a major victory for victims of online exploitation after leading on the issue for the past several months. Rep. Maria Salazar (FL-27), who we have been proud to support over the years, authored and reintroduced the "TAKE IT DOWN Act" in the House earlier this year. She found a fellow champion in First Lady Melania Trump, whose advocacy helped elevate the issue and mobilize bipartisan support.

According to Rep. Salazar's office, "The law addresses the growing threat of deepfake technology, which allows perpetrators to create explicit, realistic images—usually of women and girls—without consent. Many victims don’t discover these images until after serious harm is done. By setting clear federal standards and requiring swift takedowns, the law closes a dangerous gap that left victims with little recourse."

Yesterday, our friends at American Action Network (AAN) launched a $4.2 million broadcast, cable, and digital ad campaign across 28 congressional districts. The ads highlight how the House GOP budget "cements the largest tax cut in American history, cuts taxes for social security recipients and eliminates taxes on tips and overtime."

The campaign includes ads supporting WFW PAC-endorsed Jen Kiggans (VA-02) and Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01). AAN is also hitting battleground incumbent Democrats for "supporting the largest tax hike in American history."

With Republicans holding narrow majorities in the U.S. House and Senate, Winning For Women PAC announced our initial endorsements earlier than ever before to help hold and expand our majorities — backing three proven leaders from each chamber who have championed conservative economic and national security policies.
