When I say this campaign is about more than politics, I mean it.

Yes, I’m in one of the toughest races in the country — I won reelection in 2024 by just 2.74%, while Donald Trump carried my district. That’s why I’m once again part of the DCCC’s Frontline Program — and why national Republicans are pouring money into this race to flip it.

But my work in Congress isn’t about scoring political points — it’s about protecting our communities and delivering real results.

That’s why I’m so proud to share that my bipartisan TREAT Youth Act — which I introduced with Republican Congresswoman Jen Kiggans — just passed the House.

This bill will:

• Help prevent youth substance abuse and overdose

• Fund treatment and recovery services for adolescents

• Train health care providers and school personnel to support young people suffering from addiction

• And fight the spread of fentanyl in our communities

In Nevada, youth substance abuse is rising. Families across our state are losing loved ones to addiction every day. We can’t wait any longer to act — and with this bill, we didn’t.
