This week, the State Senate hit a critical deadline. Nearly 450 bills had to pass or die.

We’ve been voting long hours and it’s become clear that most of these bills won’t help working Californians. Most of these bills do nothing to make life better. In fact, many will raise costs, further threaten public safety, and grow government overreach.

Here’s what really happened this week:

Democrats voted for higher gas price.

I forced a Senate floor vote <[link removed]> to repeal Newsom’s 65-cent gas price hike. Not a single Democrat supported it. They had the chance to stand with California drivers. Instead, they defended Gavin Newsom and the highest gas prices in the nation.

We’ve got the vote record. If there’s no ‘Y’ next to their name, they betrayed drivers and voted to keep the price hike. We’re coming for their seats, and we won’t let voters forget.



Democrats’ “Affordability Package” is a fraud.

Senate Democrats are parading some snake oil legislation they call an ‘Affordability Package’ of 3 measly bills. Their “solutions” don't actually cut any costs and will likely end up raising prices. California is already unaffordable and Democrats are hell bent on making it worse.

Democrats opened the prison gates for over 1,600 cold-blooded killers.

Every one of these heinous murderers <[link removed]> was sentenced to life without parole. That should be the end of the story. But Democrats just voted to let them out early. Read my op-ed <[link removed]> exposing this dangerous scheme.

While Democrats push one extreme bill after another, Senate Republicans are holding the line, forcing the tough votes, and showing voters where every lawmaker really stands.

While we have 10 strong Republican Senators, we’re up against a radical agenda backed by millions in left-wing cash. We need just 4 more seats to break the Democrats' supermajority and take back control before California becomes completely unrecognizable.
