Hidden in this thousand-page monstrosity are provisions that enrich Trump and his inner circle at the expense of (you guessed it!) literally everyone else in America. It's a gift to Big Tech megadonors, an attack on checks and balances, and a power grab that stomps all over states' rights.

A vote on this dangerous bill could happen as early as this week. Time is running out to stop its anti-democratic and corrupt provisions from becoming law.

Provisions like blocking federal courts from holding government officials in contempt even if they violate judicial orders – essentially meaning court orders cannot be enforced. Courts have ruled against the Trump administration at least 170 times, including on core democratic issues like due process and Congressional authority. If those orders cannot be enforced, then the courts lose their authority… and we lose a critical check on executive overreach.
