Dear John,

What would you do with $70 billion?

We know what Facebook did.

- They allowed incitement to violence against protesters fighting for racial justice in America in the wake of the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, Ahmaud Arbery, Rayshard Brooks and so many others.
- They named Breitbart News a “trusted news source” and made The Daily Caller a “fact checker” despite both publications having records of working with known white nationalists.

Today, we are partnering with Color of Change,Common Sense Media,Free Press, the NAACP and Sleeping Giants in calling on businesses — from the world’s largest corporations to small companies in your community — to stand in solidarity with our deeply held American values of freedom, equality and justice by not advertising on Facebook in July 2020.

We believe this pressure on the bottom line can push Facebook and other tech companies to adopt our policy and product recommendations and make their platforms safer and more respectful and inclusive for all people.

Together, let’s send a powerful message to Facebook that until they stand with those who strive for freedom, equality and justice, they will stand alone.

Please join us.
