By now you may have heard that the U.S. Senate is considering a budget plan that slashes $300 billion from SNAP, the anti-hunger program that helps feed over 41 million Americans.
This plan guts SNAP’s ability to keep up with inflation, and adds barriers that disproportionately harm queer families, people with disabilities, and people of color.
