I introduced a new bill to end prescription drug price gouging for everyone.

Right now, Americans are paying the highest prices in the world for lifesaving medication. Ozempic for people with diabetes costs nearly $13,000 a year in the U.S. but only $820 in Japan. Humira, an important drug for people with Crohn's disease and rheumatoid arthritis, costs over $100,000 here and just $3,000 in Austria.

This is corporate greed, and it’s killing people.

I introduced the End Price Gouging for Medications Act to stop it. This bill makes one thing clear: If drug companies can offer lower prices abroad, they must offer them here too, no matter your insurance, income, or coverage. But Big Pharma’s lobbyists are already working behind closed doors to kill this bill.

His recent executive order only applies to Medicare and Medicaid, but the End Price Gouging for Medications Act protects everyone, including those who are uninsured, those with private insurance, and families on federal health programs.

If Trump were serious about lowering prices, he’d back this bill. Instead, he’s siding with Big Pharma and billionaire donors (again).

This is about making sure every American can afford the medication they need to survive and not go bankrupt in the process.
