Yesterday, we heard from Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of Greece [link removed], who discussed the democratic alliance in the Eastern Mediterranean among Greece, Cyprus, the United States, and Israel, and the importance of expanding that vital strategic partnership, among other issues. Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania [link removed], also addressed Virtual Global Forum participants to discuss Albania’s courageous rescue of Jews from the Nazis, the current resurgence of antisemitism in Europe, relations with the United States and Israel, aspirations to gain membership in the EU, and more. Both guests were terrific and compelling.

Later on, we hosted a historic public dialogue with Dr. Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates [link removed], who detailed the UAE’s efforts to promote regional stability and interfaith cooperation in remarks that have drawn media coverage around the world, including in The New York Times [link removed] and numerous Arab and Israeli outlets.
