I want to tell you why I love this campaign.

First: We have donors in over 87% of zip codes in America.  That’s incredible!  We’re building a coalition of people from all over the country who see the threats we’re facing and are ready to take immediate action to do something about it.

Second: Our campaign is built by people from all walks of life.  The most common jobs of our donors are software engineers, teachers, drivers, retail workers and warehouse workers.

Third: This campaign is built by grassroots donors -- not corporate PACs or special interest billionaires.  When people look at our fundraising reports they see small donations make up a majority of our fundraising.

Now here’s where the math comes in.  We still have another $109,673 to raise to fund our ramped up Iowa organizing program.  Hitting this goal will allow us to more than DOUBLE our organizers in the state.  That would be big.

So here’s my ask to you: Our average online donation this week is $32.03.  If 3,424 people donate TONIGHT we can close the books on this goal and hire these organizers immediately.   I’m counting on you Yang Gang -- can you pitch in?
