Hi, John. I’m Stefany Shaheen, and I’m proud to announce that I’m running for Congress in New Hampshire’s 1st District.

This district is my home. It’s where I grew up, raised my family, and built my business. It’s where I learned what it means to care, serve, and fight for what matters.

My daughter, Elle, was just eight years old when she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Her life has revolved around needles and blood sugar checks, 24-7—with too many sleepless nights and constant worry that the wrong amount of insulin could kill her. That experience changed me—and for more than 15 years, I’ve fought for medical research and innovation in health care to help people like my daughter and millions more who are battling chronic, life-threatening diseases.

Now, Trump and MAGA Republicans are crushing medical research while Republicans in Congress slash Medicaid, and health care for kids, seniors, and veterans—all to give big tax breaks to billionaires and corporations—it’s time to turn outrage into action. I’ve got to fight.

I’m running for Congress to fight for New Hampshire families and the values that make us strong. There’s no one who fights harder than a mom for her kids, and that’s how I’ll fight for your family, too. In New Hampshire, we stand up for each other.
