Friday Power Lunch: Cults & Fascism - Finding the way out
|
|
This week, we’re getting a much-needed diagnosis — and a few antidotes — for the dangerous rise of cult-like devotion and creeping fascism. Join Dr. Stephanie Gerber Wilson, historian, activist, and host of the Freedom Over Fascism podcast, as she shares how we can reframe our conversations around shared values, not partisan politics. Then, hear from Dr. Steven Hassan, leading cult expert and author of The Cult of Trump, as he breaks down mind control tactics and what actually works when reaching those caught in the grip of authoritarian influence — in our communities, families, and on the ballot. Got questions? Ask the doctors yourself!
