Dear John,

Hi First Name,

When species can’t move, they can’t survive.

Today, wild animals across North America are trapped and divided by roads. Habitat fragmentation is now one of the biggest drivers of biodiversity loss—and our roads are accelerating the crisis.

The good news? We have a proven solution: wildlife crossings. Overpasses, underpasses, and other structures can reconnect habitat, reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions by more than 90%, and help animals—from mountain lions to frogs—safely cross dangerous roads. At Wildlands Network, we’ve already helped secure over $440 million in public funding for wildlife crossings across North America.

But the need is much greater.

That's why this week, we’re launching our most ambitious campaign yet: an initiative to get 25 wildlife crossings and $1 billion of public funding for these projects jumpstarted by 2030. It’s bold, it’s achievable, and with your help, it can reshape the future for wildlife across the continent. Donate, share, or take action today—and help us build a world where nature can move, survive, and thrive.
