John, this is horrible news. It marks the culmination of months of GOP attacks on public broadcasting. Elon Musk wants to defund NPR and PBS. Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to defund NPR and PBS. And now, Donald Trump has formally sent his request to Congress to defund these institutions ASAP.

Mike Johnson has pledged to make Trump’s dreams a reality “as quickly as possible.” He’s making sure the House votes on it as early as NEXT WEEK.

But NPR and PBS aren’t backing down. They’re suing the Trump administration to fight back against these unprecedented attacks!

With the Republican trifecta moving at breakneck speed, we at the DGA need you to act now. Before the House votes, can we count on you to add your name to OPPOSE Trump and the GOP’s attacks on NPR and PBS? We need at least 67 signatures from Pennsylvania before midnight.
