I have a long list of priorities I’m going to tackle head-on as New Mexico’s next governor.
But at the very top?
Making sure New Mexicans don’t go hungry because they can’t afford food.
Right now, Trump and his allies are attacking working families by gutting food assistance programs that New Mexican families rely on to survive. His reckless tariffs are hiking up grocery prices. He’s slashing funding for food banks. And now he wants to rip away food stamps to bankroll tax cuts for billionaires like Elon Musk.
It’s cruel. It’s wrong. And to me, it’s personal.
I know what it’s like to stand in a grocery store aisle doing mental math, wondering if there’s enough to feed your kid and make rent. I know the anxiety of staring down an empty pantry. That experience stays with you, and it’s what drives me to fight relentlessly to make life affordable for working families in New Mexico.
Our state deserves a leader who prioritizes bringing down costs, not padding the pockets of the ultra-rich.
But to take on the MAGA machine and win this race, we’re going to need a massive grassroots movement.
Be fierce,
