Are you trying to tune it all out?
The chaos. The corruption. The cruelty.
Or maybe, in some weird way, is it starting to feel normal?
The headlines blur. The shock wears off.
Authoritarianism doesn’t always march in under martial law.
It creeps in. Through erosion. Through silence. Through resignation. Through the quiet, incremental loss of just enough ground that, over time, our reality starts to feel unfamiliar and the things we took for granted begin to disappear.
That’s why I’m asking you: Don’t look away. Don’t get distracted. Because the next fight is here, and Georgia is the front line.
I’m the only Democratic Senator running for re-election in a state Donald Trump won in 2024. MAGA has made this campaign their #1 midterm target.
So if you’re alarmed by what’s happening in our country — and ready to fight back — I’m asking you to rush a contribution to my re-election campaign before our May fundraising drive ends this week.

Before I ran for Senate, I investigated corruption and human rights abuses abroad.
I know what authoritarianism looks like. I know this pattern.
Trump and his lieutenants are flaunting corruption, harassing opponents, repressing dissent, and trying to intimidate critics into silence.
The President of the United States of America thinks he’s a king.
Just this month:
He hosted a private gala to promote his Trump-branded meme coin. The top donors got an exclusive dinner and a tour of the White House.
He accepted a luxury jet from the Qatari royal family.
And when asked whether everyone on American soil is entitled to due process — a bedrock principle of our constitution — Trump said: “I don’t know.”
I ran for Senate in 2020 for two reasons: To root out the endemic corruption that enabled Trump’s rise and to help Georgia and our Nation flourish.
Right now I’m doing everything I can in the Senate to confront this Administration’s lawless abuses.
But I’m also in the toughest, most expensive, and most consequential re-election fight of the midterms. MAGA is turning its focus to Georgia to lock in long-term control of the Senate for Trump.
Back when I launched my first Senate campaign, the pundits said flipping a seat in Georgia was impossible, that a millennial investigative journalist couldn’t win a race the GOP had locked down for two decades.
But together, we built one of the most powerful grassroots movements this country has ever seen, and delivered a historic victory that helped Democrats win Senate control.
Now, we have to do it again.
My team is working day and night to rebuild that organizing machine. Our plan is to reach voters in every corner of the state like we did before.
We know how to win here. But we need your help to do it.
As summer begins and grassroots supporters get distracted, our May fundraising takes a hit — and we’re urgently trying to close the gap. So if you’re able to pitch in a few dollars before the end of the month, it would make a real difference. I’d be incredibly grateful for your support.
