Hi John,
Last night, I had the honor of joining Katie Halper’s show ( watch clips here [[link removed]] – and full video here [[link removed]] ) to discuss the latest developments on U.S.-Iran diplomacy, including Senator Chuck Schumer’s outrageous remarks on talks with Iran.
[link removed] [[link removed]] Over the past year, I’ve been on the ground organizing NIAC chapters locally, bringing our community together through culture, film [[link removed]] , and education [[link removed]] , leading Know Your Rights trainings [[link removed]] , and meeting with our elected officials in support of peace and our civil rights.
This is a moment when our work on the ground in New York and in chapters around the country feels more urgent than ever.
When our elected leaders endorse dangerous policies and make harmful [[link removed]-] remarks that threaten to drag us into endless war, our community must stand up. This is exactly why we do this work: to build community power, speak truth [[link removed]] to power, and demand a future rooted in diplomacy and dignity for all.
Join the No War with Iran Campaign! Take Action Now:
1. Sign up for a chapter near you! Join a local chapter [[link removed]] to get invited to and help plan local actions in support of peace in your area and Sign up for a Congressional Meeting [[link removed]] with your representatives. We need your voice in the room!
2. Support our No War campaign by submitting a testimony - Add your voice to our Testimonial Collection Campaign [[link removed]] and help us show lawmakers why negotiations matter.
3. Donate to our efforts to build communities for peace: Chip in to support this work. [[link removed]]
This is a pivotal time. Our collective action can make the difference between war and peace. I’m proud to stand with you—and to bring our message to national audiences—but we need your energy and passion to keep the momentum going.
Lastly, please consider making a donation to support this crucial work at the tip of the spear in Washington & around the country to prevent war with Iran. Support this work [[link removed]]
Looking forward to seeing you there and working together for a better future.
Thank you,
Etan Mabourakh NIAC Organizing Manager
