Last month, House Republicans passed the so-called “One Big Beautiful
Bill” — but there’s nothing beautiful about it. That’s why we’re calling
it the One Big Billionaire Bill. This dangerous legislation guts clean
energy incentives and hands the savings to billionaires.

What does this mean? Higher utility bills, stalled American manufacturing,
and nearly 292,000 jobs at risk.
Worse yet, a sneaky provision called “Foreign Entities of Concern” could
make clean energy tax credits nearly impossible to claim — crippling
domestic projects before they begin. Under this provision, clean energy
projects are disqualified from receiving tax credits if any part of the
project — from a single screw to a minor ownership stake — is tied to
certain foreign countries, including China. This will make the process and
production of new green energy projects nearly impossible.
