I was born and raised on my family's farm in a small town called Sabina, Ohio. After earning an ROTC scholarship to attend the Marion Military Institute, I served as an officer in the military while earning a bachelor's degree from the Ohio State University. The values that guided me then continue to guide me in Congress today: hard work, community, and freedom. As a professional, I became an executive for one of the nation's largest privately owned energy companies, headquartered in Ohio. For more than twenty years, I fought in the private sector to protect American jobs by opposing the same failed energy policies being pushed today by the Democrats. Today, I'm using my experience to fight back against the radicals in Congress and help President Trump pass his America First Agenda.
