We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced analyst to lead on business intelligence for Nottingham City Councils Early Help agenda. Managing a multi-disciplinary team, you will play a key role in ensuring Nottingham Citys Childrens Integrated Service continues to operate with timely and robust data whilst ensuring resources are used in the most efficient, effective and sustainable manner. This critical position will lead a team that supply analysis, KPI reporting and insight generation. You will be pivotal in communicating the performance message to senior stakeholder across a range of services. Amongst other duties, the role will proactively support the use of data in the identification, analysis and outcome monitoring of the Councils Priority Families programme. You will have knowledge and significant experience of using and developing a range of business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Excel and SQL Server) to support advanced performance-reporting requirements. You will be adept at analysing, interpreting and communicating complex written and statistical data in a variety of formats. You will be enthusiastic, methodical and possess a strong attention to detail as you will be working to tight deadlines where accuracy is essential. You will have an enquiring mind, be an effective communicator and be passionate about using data and information to make a difference to the lives of Children and Young People. *ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:* Proven experience and advanced knowledge of business intelligence tools E.g. SQL, SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Advanced Excel or equivalent.
Evaluating and presenting complex evidence on performance for senior management teams and elected members
Evaluation of performance using quantitative and qualitative evidence
Ability to manage project teams ensuring effective contribution across number of operational teams
