Accuracy in Media just released new undercover footage from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. In the video, Megan Pugh, Dean of Students, states that she “loves breaking rules” when asked whether UNC Asheville has continued to operate DEI programs. She goes on to tell our investigator she will continue breaking rules “until more or less, they get mad at us.” Last year, the University of North Carolina Board of Governors voted to eliminate DEI offices and DEI-related spending across the entire university system. Yet this investigation makes it clear that the policies are still being ignored at the campus level. Watch the video here: |
The radicalism behind these DEI programs is fully embedded within these institutions. Real reform will require new leadership and bold action from the Board of Governors. If you believe public universities should follow the law, make your voice heard. Use our platform at SaveNCSchools.com to email the UNC Board of Governors and demand accountability for UNC Asheville’s defiance of the DEI ban. Thank you for continuing to follow and support this work. -- The Accuracy in Media Team |
