Sen. Mike Lee is trying to shoehorn a provision into Trump’s Tax Bill that would bring back large-scale federal public land sales for hundreds of thousands of acres—it’s a dangerously extreme idea that has now gone mainstream with Republicans.

If passed, this bill would give radicals in the Trump administration the power to declare our land “excess” and sell it to private developers and fossil fuel interests.

Democrats and the media have mostly focused on the tax handouts and Medicaid cuts in this legislation. That’s exactly why we must bring attention to Mike Lee and his billionaire buddies trying to sneak this crap into the Senate bill.
