When President Trump returned to office, he promised a “golden age” of free speech.
What we got instead was a coordinated campaign to silence people who dare to speak the truth.
❌ Judges who ruled against him are being attacked and labeled “communists.”
❌ Journalists who won’t use his preferred language, like using the term “Gulf of America,” are being kicked out of press briefings.
❌ Universities are being threatened with funding cuts if their students or administrators disagree with administration policy.
❌ Even cultural institutions like the Kennedy Center are being taken over because the President didn’t like the plays they performed.
This isn’t just rhetoric. These are thoroughly undemocratic tactics.
Free speech and voting rights are core principles of our country’s democracy, so I’m not staying silent.
