John –
The National Republican Congressional Committee just launched a full-scale smear campaign against me — all because I voted against Donald Trump’s so-called “Big, beautiful bill.”
Let’s be clear about what they’re actually attacking me for: Voting against cutting Medicaid and SNAP, and refusing to support massive tax breaks for billionaires like Trump and Elon Musk, while working families are left to foot the bill.
These aren’t just attack ads, they’re blatant lies designed to distract and discredit. Republicans are trying to frame me as the villain for standing up for healthcare, food security, and basic dignity for everyday Americans.
But I didn’t take an oath to serve billionaires. I took an oath — first in the Army, and now in Congress — to defend the Constitution and fight for the American people. I’ll never apologize for doing exactly that.
And I know I’m not alone in this fight.
The NRCC will keep twisting the facts, launching baseless attacks, and rallying Republicans to condemn me for standing up to their puppeteer, Donald Trump. So we must fight back — with truth, with grit, and with the full force of this grassroots movement.
