Our courts are a system of local, state, and federal judges - each making decisions in their own jurisdiction. Nationwide injunctions are court orders that prevent the government from enforcing a law or policy nationwide, not just for the parties in a specific lawsuit.

Republicans are trying to end nationwide injunctions and the consequence would be complete chaos - allowing Trump to commit unconstitutional actions in regions of the country with jurisdictions covered by MAGA judges.

So Republicans snuck a provision in their new 1000 page budget bill - a single sentence that would end nationwide injunctions. That bill passed in the House and now must be approved by the Senate, and Republicans are fighting to keep that single sentence in the bill.

Trump and his MAGA allies will do anything for power. That is why Trump is attacking our courts, with his eyes on Pennsylvania next.

Right now, MAGA extremists and right-wing billionaires are trying to take down the three Democratic justices on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in their 2025 retention election. Their goal is to replace these judges with puppets who will let Trump act as an emperor and ensure PA elections are no longer fair or competitive - turning it deep red.
