Dear John,

I know you follow the facts.

We do too.

Our recent MRP poll asked 5,000 voters across the UK’s key electoral battlegrounds what really matters to them. They told us loud and clear - we need a deal.

I’m sure by now you’ve seen the incredible figures - 90% of voters, leave or remain, want a trade deal, 70% prioritise a European trade deal, and 60% fear the cost of daily essentials will rise without one. But I want to talk to you about something else.

I want to talk to you about persuasion.

If the Government will listen to one thing, it’s the voters who won them the 2019 election. This polling shows it is in the Government’s self-interest to extend transition, secure a trade deal with Europe, and keep these constituencies on side.

Regardless of the economic and practical reasons to extend, it is this which will grab the Cummings and Johnson's attention.

That’s why I’ve come to you with a request. MRP polling, which is able segment and analyse voters’ opinions, is complicated and expensive.
Your donation would allow us to keep funding polling like this. It’s the only way to persuade the Government to do what’s right. Please, donate now.

If you are not in a position to donate, I completely understand. The Coronavirus pandemic has put many in a financially precarious situation. Whether your support takes the form of a donation or writing to your MP here, it is immensely important to us.

But, if you are, I hope you appreciate why I am asking. At this critical juncture, as both US and EU trade talks intensify, we need your help.

It’s not just about commissioning polling. Persuasion is about making sure MPs and ministers get access to this evidence , and in the right way. Briefing politicians, running Hey MP campaigns and generating press stories in pro-Brexit papers (did you see our polling in the Spectator this weekend?) takes time and it takes money

Persuasion is the art of getting people to do things that are in their own best interest. We must show the Government extending transition is not only sensible, but beneficial to them. Please, help us do this and donate today.

The official deadline to extend transition is 30th June. That’s less than 2 weeks away.

We must deal with one crisis at a time. We must make sure our leaders realise what’s at stake.

There is just enough time left - it's not too late, but only if you help us today, so that we can take action now.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for your continued support.

Best wishes,

Cary Mitchell,
