About the job
As an Enterprise Contracts & Procurement Specialist 2 (ECPS2), you will perform senior-level procurement activities crucial to supporting state enterprise operations and systems. This role involves offering cost-effective procurement solutions and services to various state entities, including agencies, colleges, universities, political subdivisions, and eligible non-profit corporations. You'll collaborate with business executives and department leaders to strategically plan and execute procurement activities, committing the State of Washington to contractual agreements with major statewide fiscal impact. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state procurement policy and legislatively mandated priorities, promoting and implementing socio-economic, supplier inclusion, and environmental procurement initiatives across the state enterprise. Your duties will encompass procurement activities, contract management, and customer support services.
