Hearing it from them, you’d think the problem in Illinois is that taxes are too low (ha!). They want more of your money to line the pockets of their special interest backers.
Let’s be clear: Illinois has a reckless spending problem. And families like yours shouldn’t be forced to foot the bill.
Illinois Republicans are leading the charge to stop these tax hikes, but we need to build the strongest grassroots resistance we’ve ever mounted to stop this train before it derails our economy.

So when I hear that Springfield Democrats want to take billions more from your wallets—while crime rises, schools crumble, and corruption thrives—I don’t believe this fight is just about politics. It’s about protecting the heart of our communities: the parents working two jobs, the seniors on fixed incomes, the small business owners barely hanging on.
