Newsflash, MAGA: you don’t get to gut public education without Congress.

Thousands of workers? Saved.
Public education? Protected.
Dictatorship? Denied.

I’ll be blunt: At this point, the Republicans are the party of feelings over facts.

Whatever they feel, is what they go with — regardless of what the law says or whether or not there’s any supporting evidence.

When it comes to the federal government, it doesn’t work like that. We have a judicial system and legal processes for a reason, and you don’t just get to ignore it because of how you “feel.”

But the Republican majorities in Congress will never stand up to Trump like that — so it’s time we elect people who will.
