Government corruption isn’t some far-off conspiracy – it’s the misuse of your tax dollars, and it’s happening now. As a member of the Oversight Committee, I’m determined to root it out.
Last week, I joined Symone Sanders Townsend, Michael Steele, and Alicia Menendez on MSNBC’s The Weeknight to talk about how Donald Trump is using his position to enrich himself and his businesses:
During his first administration, Donald Trump was already funneling money to his businesses at the expense of American taxpayers. While traveling, he strategically chose to stay at Trump properties so that the Secret Service had to pay to house their officers there, too. Who footed the bill for those luxury stays? American taxpayers.
Now, in his second term, Trump has only gotten better at corruption: from crypto to Bitcoin, a $400 million jet deal with Qatar, and more. This flies in the face of why public service exists: to advocate for your constituents, not to make yourself richer.

In Richmond, he worked across the aisle to support Virginians and protect Democracy, and he is dedicated to delivering the same results from Capitol Hill. Suhas resides in Ashburn, Virginia (in VA-10) with his wife, Miranda, and their two daughters.
