BIG NEWS: ELIZABETH WARREN just endorsed progressive powerhouse Jamaal Bowman in his race for Congress against 31-year incumbent Eliot Engel in New York's 16th District.
The timing couldn't be better. In reaction to Jamaal's momentum, Republican donors just committed $100,000 to a Super PAC trying to help Engel win the Democratic primary! They know Jamaal's win over a powerful committee chair would change the national conversation for progressives like AOC's victory did last time!

In addition to Warren, Jamaal has been endorsed by the PCCC, Working Families Party, Justice Democrats, Zephyr Teachout, AOC, Bernie, and The New York Times! Because Engel is so bad, a second progressive was also running against him in New York's 16th Congressional District. But now Andom Ghebreghiorgis has dropped out and he's endorsed Jamaal too!
The New York Times showed why this principal is surging when they endorsed Jamaal over 31-year incumbent Eliot Engel:
Engel...was criticized for not returning home even as the coronavirus raged through communities he represents, particularly New Rochelle. When he did return for this race, he was caught on a hot mic pushing for a chance to speak during a protest rally, saying, "If I didn’t have a primary, I wouldn’t care."
His main challenger is Jamaal Bowman, an educator for more than 20 years and a fierce advocate for public schools. Mr. Bowman helped found a public middle school in the Bronx [and] says he wants to see the United States adopt a kind of Marshall Plan for climate change, jobs, housing and education.
Jamaal's support for Medicare for All and a Green New Deal is yet another reason for Jamaal's support. Engel opposes both!
