 Folks, I want to thank you all for a strong start to my first re-election campaign last month. Thanks to this team, we far surpassed our May online fundraising goal. Thank you — it means a lot to me when everyday folks pitch in a few bucks here and there to help me build a strong campaign and continue fighting for you in the Senate. One of the things you learn as a small business owner is how important your budget is. To get the Wynkoop up and running strong, we had to know exactly what we expected to bring in each day, how we would maintain a steady revenue stream, and we’d have to work to continually grow our business until we succeeded. And campaigns are just the same. So I wanted to give you a heads up: Our first public fundraising deadline since launch is coming up on June 30th, and we’ll have to submit a report for the FEC to share publicly. The National GOP will look at this report closely to see if we have what it takes to defend this critical seat and help Democrats take back the Senate – so we need to get to work now. It’s always been my mission to bring the voice of Coloradans to D.C. to fight for the issues you care about most. Hitting our June goal keeps us on track to continue that fight.
