Dear Friends,

I write to share an update on my recent work in California and Washington, D.C.  

Last week the House approved, with my support, a reconciliation package that blocks tax increases, makes historic investments in border security and national defense, unlocks energy resources, and continues to fight fraud, and abuse in government programs.

I also hosted a bipartisan energy briefing on the need for reliable and robust domestic energy. And, I am re-introducing legislation to formally support the gig worker economy.

My team visited the Poway Chamber of Commerce’s office ribbon-cutting, the Valley Center Stampede Rodeo, and the ribbon-cutting for the Future Center at Escondido Union High. It was also an honor to host an event to congratulate our local outstanding service academy nominees who will soon attend the U.S. Air Force, Merchant Marine, Military, and Naval Academies.
