We know you don’t want to worry about losing an incumbent Democrat like Mark in the Senate.

And we wish we could tell you not to worry about it either. Because historically speaking, the party in the White House loses ground in the midterm elections.

But here’s the problem: Donald Trump continues to defy political odds. While the House saw a blue wave in 2018 during Trump’s first term — Republicans in the Senate managed to NET a seat.

Not to mention, the past couple of elections have been really tough on incumbent Democrats. Bob Casey in Pennsylvania? Jon Tester in Montana? Sherrod Brown in Ohio?

Republicans are looking at the data, and see that Trump only lost Virginia by single-digit percentage points last year. With a strong opponent and a 50 million dollar super PAC, Republicans could win Virginia.

Look, there’s a lot that can happen in 17 months – but the reality is, we need your help to make Virginia a firewall against Trump’s eventual candidate in Virginia.
