Howdy,
We wrapped up May with a delicious Crawfish Boil to support our delegates going to the National Convention. May was a month of hard work beginning at our International Workers' Day protest at City Hall. We continued the work throughout the month with canvasses for immigrant justice and Palestine. Throughout June, we'll provide trainings for the skills necessary to defend and organize the working class. Get trained! Fight back!

As Mayor Whitmire and Houston Police continue to collaborate with ICE to attack our communities, we'll learn how to respond. Learn how to be part of a rapid response network to verify ICE sightings, provide information to nearby communities, and more. We will be at 2506 Sutherland St. on Sunday, June 8 from 3-5pm. At our General Meeting, experienced organizers will train you to have effective conversations with friends, coworkers, and neighbors. We will also do a clothing drive for a free boutique dedicated to queer youth. Bring clean clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry, and more to donate.

Since Nakba Week, we have canvassed dozens of Chevron gas stations to inform workers and owners about the company's participation in Israel's genocide against Palestinians. Join us this Thursday, June 5 at 7pm on Zoom to discuss how we'll ramp up pressure in our campaign.
