The White House’s 2026 budget request would slash support for kids – here at home and around the world. Tell Congress: This is NOT the future children deserve.

I know federal budget proposals aren’t the most thrilling topic, but we can’t afford to tune this one out.  

Right now, Congress is deciding how much support children and families will receive – or lose – next year. The President’s Budget Request asks Congress to GUT funding for:  

• Lifesaving humanitarian aid
• Groundbreaking global health initiatives
• Child care and early learning programs 
• Our nation’s already underfunded education system 

Children’s futures aren’t line items we can cut. Urge Congress to invest in kids and invest in America!

To put this crisis into perspective, the proposed U.S. education budget would provide LESS THAN ONE-THIRD of current funding for specialized literacy and student support programs.

Globally, it’d eliminate efforts that helped reduce child deaths by 55% since 2000 –unraveling decades of progress and leaving millions of kids behind.  

John, staying silent is as good as endorsing these devastating proposals. Push your lawmakers to pass a budget that puts children’s futures FIRST.
