Blue Line Courthouse
RIDE THE NEW BLUE LINE! 

LAUNCHING JUNE 8

In partnership with Visit Fort Worth and the Downtown Fort Worth PID, Trinity Metro is excited to announce the launch of the Blue Line, the second of Trinity Metro’s color-coded bus routes. Riders will enjoy a sleek new riding experience around downtown in bright blue buses with iconic artwork on the exterior. Once aboard the bus, riders will enjoy comfortable perimeter seating with additional artwork inside and on selected seats.

The Blue Line will replace Molly the Trolley, which will cease operations at the end of service on Saturday, June 7. The first day of operations for Blue Line will be Sunday, June 8, and the new line will offer convenient daily service from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Riders can easily hop on and hop off whenever they’d like – and the route has a bus coming by every seven minutes, so it’s extremely convenient.

The route connects to downtown shops, dining, hotels and more. Select destinations along the Blue Line include stops near the Fort Worth Convention Center, Fort Worth Water Gardens and the ever-popular Sundance Square.

In addition to the launch of the Blue Line, several modifications to current bus routes will be implemented to reflect necessary detours for long-term construction projects across the system. "Click the bolded route numbers below to see the new route maps. "

*Route 2 Camp Bowie [ [link removed] ]* —  Update the turn-by-turn directions to accurately represent the current route the bus is taking to bypass the ongoing long-term construction project along Camp Bowie Blvd. between Montgomery and University Drive.

*Route 12 Samuels/Mercantile Center Station [ [link removed] ]* —  Update the turn-by-turn directions to accurately represent the current route the bus is taking to bypass the ongoing long-term construction project at NE 28th Street and Decatur Avenue.

Sundance Square Events
ENJOY EVENTS IN THE PLAZA

Sundance Square can turn ordinary days into lasting memories. There’s always something fun happening there, including First Saturdays, a monthly market on the Plaza featuring unique finds from local vendors, delicious bites from food trucks, and a fun-filled day for the whole family.

And Trinity Metro can get you there. Opals Walk
JOIN US FOR OPAL'S WALK

Beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, June 19, Trinity Metro is honored to participate in Opal's Walk For Freedom, an annual 2.5-mile walk launching at Farrington Field (1501 University Drive, Fort Worth).

Now a national holiday, Juneteenth celebrates the freedom gained when slavery was abolished across the country. Trinity Metro is proud to partner with Unity Unlimited and Ms. Opal in the walk by providing two buses that will carry seniors and those with mobility challenges who wish to participate.
