Happy Pride Month!

‪In celebration of Pride Month, the Arizona Democratic Party continues to recognize the progress, invaluable contributions, and rich history of the LGBTQ+ community – including the people of color who have been at the forefront of this movement.

While we continue the fight towards equality, we must demand action and change from those who are standing in the way of progress.

Last year, the House passed the Equality Act, which would end discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity. However, as with many essential and widely supported bills, Mitch McConnell tossed the Equality Act into his Senate Graveyard, refusing to bring it to a vote in the Senate.

In honor of Pride Month and in support of the LGBTQ+ community, we’re calling on Mitch McConnell to (finally) bring the Equality Act to a vote. Add your name now and help us reach our goal of 5,000 signatures.
