Hello John,

This Pride season feels different. Not just because of the headlines, but because LGBTQ+ youth are feeling the consequences of a national retreat.

Books are being banned. Curriculums are being gutted. Brands that once marched alongside us are staying silent—or backing away entirely.

But at It Gets Better, we refuse to disappear.

We know that supporting LGBTQ+ youth isn’t a seasonal obligation, it’s a daily commitment. That’s why we show up where young people are – in classrooms, online, at Pride events, and in the quiet digital spaces where connection can make all the difference.

This month, we’re launching our 6th annual It Gets Better: A Digital Pride Celebration [[link removed]], a virtual experience filled with affirming stories, inspiring voices, and moments of real connection.

Across the country, our youth street teams are showing up at local Pride events to distribute resources, spark conversation, and remind LGBTQ+ youth that they are seen, valued, and never alone.

And this Thursday’s Give OUT Day, the only national day of giving dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community, your support goes even further. Every gift helps us fund [[link removed]] youth-led projects, expand access to inclusive content, and ensure every young person who needs us can find us.

We’ve become the leading LGBTQ+ youth nonprofit on TikTok, YouTube, Tumblr, and Twitch. We’ve supported student-led initiatives to create a more inclusive world in nearly every US State and across Canada. And we continue to center young people not as problems to be solved but as powerful contributors to the future.

This isn’t just a mission. It’s a promise.
