WBAL RADIO: "Congressman Olszewski frustrated by Congress's failure to lower costs for Americans"

Herbert,
Last week, I took to the airwaves to express my frustration at Congress’ inaction – or inability – to lower costs for hard-working Americans.
As we approach the 150th day of this session, we have yet to pass a single bill to lower the price of groceries, gas, childcare and housing. Instead, President Trump and his Congressional allies are making life harder.
Their budget bill won't just balloon the deficit. It will “line the pockets of the ultrawealthy and billionaires disproportionately while doing little or nothing for working families and taking money away from the poorest among us, actually making them pay more than they currently do,” I told WBAL Radio’s TJ Smith. “And how do we fund these tax breaks for the ultrawealthy? Well, we do it by taking away food security for children, seniors and veterans, taking away health care for tens of millions of Americans.”

This bill isn’t law yet. Forward this email to a friend who needs to hear our message most, or contribute to help elect lawmakers who will fight for Maryland families.
