Friend,
According to a recent poll out of the University of New Hampshire, just 49% of Massachusetts residents approve of Governor Maura Healey’s job performance, while 51% disapprove or are unsure.
Gov. Healey announced earlier this year that she plans to seek another term. But, only 37% of Massachusetts residents think she “deserves to be reelected.”
So, what do these poll results really tell us? Let’s ask her Republican opponents…
Mike Kennealy said the survey shows “Maura Healey is vulnerable.”
Brian Shortsleeve said the survey is “devastating” for Healey because it shows voters have “clearly lost confidence in her…She’s driven up spending, driven out jobs, and made life more expensive for everyone except illegal immigrants.”
Massachusetts Republican Party Executive Director John Milligan said that at the end of the day, the poll results show Healey is “beatable” in 2026.
What do YOU think?
