As you may have heard, Ken Hersh, the Bush Center’s President and CEO for the past nine years, announced that he would be stepping down later this year after his successor is named. Following an extensive search, we are excited to announce that Dr. Shilo Brooks will take the helm starting in September. We are looking forward to this new chapter and are immensly grateful to Ken for his leadership and service.
During Ken’s tenure, he has led the Bush Center in advancing the timeless values of freedom, opportunity, accountability, and compassion – values inspired by the lives of President and Mrs. Bush. As Chairman of the Board since its founding, I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand the Bush Center’s impact – work that is built to last, that is meaningful to the issues impacting our world today, and is changing and saving lives.

We are incredibly grateful for your support and loyalty over the years and would be delighted for you to add to this effort. A gift supporting the museum endowment is an endearing way to ensure that Ken’s impact and presence will remain after his departure. Thank you for considering this opportunity.
