JOHN,
I’m sick to my stomach over what’s happening in this country. As if the downright horrors in Israel weren’t enough, now Jewish Americans are being targeted right here at home—the supposed land of the free.
Just a couple weeks ago, two Israeli Embassy staff members were gunned down outside the Capital Jewish Museum. The sick and twisted murderer shouted “Free Palestine” while being arrested.
Then this weekend in Colorado, another deranged terrorist (who wasn’t even in this country legally) attacked a peaceful rally where folks were calling for Hamas to release the remaining hostages. What did he yell as he pitched a makeshift flamethrower into the crowd? You guessed it: “Free Palestine.”
Antisemitism is real, JOHN—and it has no home here. If we don’t label it as evil and root it out once and for all, history will repeat itself.
As our Jewish friends gather today to celebrate Shavuot, the giving of the Torah, let’s stand with them and show them they’re not alone. I hear over and over how they just want to know people like you and me are doing everything we can to protect them and shut down the antisemitic filth poisoning our country.
This isn’t about politics—it’s basic right vs. wrong. Good vs. evil. We either stand up now, or one day we’ll have to explain to future generations why we didn’t.
Sincerely,
Tim Burchett
