This past weekend, I joined thousands in Anaheim at the California Democratic Party’s organizing convention – and I was floored by the numbers of Team Betty supporters who showed up.
I could feel a renewed energy inside and out of the convention center, with Californians of all backgrounds - some who will vote for the first time with our race - descending on Orange County to demand bold, fresh ideas for their future.
And they’re right: the time for the status quo is long gone.
What happens in California’s gubernatorial race will have a major hand in the direction of our state (and the rest of the country) for decades to come.
And it’s my promise to you that I will fight for working families, restore and protect our freedoms, and make our state add up for everyone.
Our movement is only as strong as the people behind it. So as we look to the year of fights ahead, will you join our broad coalition of Californians supporting our campaign, and give me your endorsement for governor?
