The BEI program certifies interpreters and ensures they accurately comprehend, produce, and transform ASL to and from English. The program supports access to communication and services for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community.
In this session, Jillian Gruetzner, BEI Program Specialist, will provide more details on the program, the types of certifications available, and the application process and requirements.
This webinar will be presented in American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English; CART (captioning) and ASL/English interpretation will be provided.
Attendees will receive Certificates of Attendance to use for continuing education documentation. In addition, participants may earn 0.1 DHHS CEUs (accepted by BEI).
